THIS AMERICAN LIFE (you dont have to be american to enjoy)

Let me explain. Ira glass is a radio host with a show on a Chicago public radio station that comes on every week. Its called This American Life. This has been my obsession lately. Ive listened to probably 24 hours off this show over the past week. Basically they take a theme every week and do 2-3 stories about said theme, interviewing people and telling great AMAZING AWESOME stories on their lives/experiences/whatever else. There is so much awesome in this show you cant not watch it. I got turned on to the show because my English teacher played us a couple of episodes from the television series adaptation on showtime (also hosted by ira glass) and it basically follows the same theme, only in a video format. (the first season is out on dvd)

So go check it out! (or maybe you already have, and i am just wayyyy behind. Its been on for like 10 years now...) [link] ... you can listen to all of their old radio episodes. (i recommend ep. 323. The Super... its been my favorite so far)


Ive also been painting a lot. I painted my girlfriend a painting with a panda bear on it for valentines day. Ill post pics soon!
